TEIP APP
Year:
2019
Teip was one of the first FinTech apps launched in El Salvador, created to simplify the way people send, receive, and manage payments directly from their smartphones.
The platform was designed primarily for younger audiences and early adopters who were more open to new digital financial experiences.
I worked on the brand identity development as well as early web and app explorations. The concept behind the visual system came from the idea of “skipping steps”, making everyday transactions feel faster, smoother, and more accessible. This idea became the foundation for the curved graphic element seen throughout the brand, symbolizing movement, flow, and the ease of navigating financial interactions.
The identity combines bold color palettes, oversized typography, graphic compositions, and energetic layouts to create a vibrant and approachable visual language. The system was designed to feel modern, optimistic, and human-centered while helping position Teip as an innovative and accessible financial platform within the Salvadoran market.
During the early stages of the project, the platform was originally named Servo before later evolving into Teip, which is why some of the explorations and applications feature the original branding.
